Ångermanland 3004 - Croft by Ulvvik in the heart of the High Coast

On the ground floor there's a small hallway next to the bathroom, then a family room, a kitchen and a bedroom with room for four people in a double bed and a bunk bed.

Upstairs we have an open floor plan with four beds plus a sofa bed. Up here there is a pitched roof and a low ceiling height of 1.60-1.80 m, but a lovely surface and view. In total, there are therefore 9 sleeping places with available space for your own brought mattress should the need for more arise.

The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, dishwasher and a small water heater and kettle. In the pantry there is a shelf for left behind dry goods and canned goods. There is also the waste sorting, a microwave oven and fridge/freezer, a stove and an oven.

In the common room there is a TV and access to wifi according to agreement. There is outdoor furniture, a ball grill and a large wooden deck that runs around three sides of the croft. Games and books are available to borrow in a cupboard and the bathroom is completely newly renovated in 2022.

The cabin is of course left clean on departure, household rubbish can be put in bins by the road and garbage and recyclables can be left at the garbage disposal in Nordingrå . There is a guide for cleaning and other house rules on the dining table upon arrival, please read them through!

Consumables are not included in the rent, you bring them yourself/fill up if you run out.

It takes about 1.5 to walk around the mountain you see straight across the road from the front. A personal favorite in the summer is the nice Omnebadet lake beach, which the village association looks after with joy.

There is a barbecue area and a dock, and those keen on hiking can climb Omneberget mountain, the trail starts right at the beach located at the foot of the mountain. Another local favorite is Gårdsbutiken, located two villages away, café and restaurant with local produce and a cozy delicatessen. You can continue on the gravel road past the farm shop if you instead want to go on to the fishing villages of Bönhamn and Barsta, the nature reserve Rotsidan or take the boat out to Högbonden, Sweden's highest lighthouse.

In Nordingrå there are lots of excursion destinations but also galleries, Mannaminne museum, kayak rental and much more. I hope you will find your own favorites and want to come back many times again!
