Cozy cabin with a wonderful location in the High Coast Region. The cabin is located on a lake yard, perfect for swimming and fishing. The toilet in the cabin is a dry toilet with a freeze function. The cabin will be prepared in the spring and is going to be ready for rental from May 30, 2021. There is a wood burning hot tub in the yard for cozy evenings.

It is a cozy cabin with a nice view of the lake and forest. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice with a hot tub and a nice terrace under the roof. But there are a lot of things that drag the rating down unfortunately.
There is something wrong with the water in the cabin so it smells a lot of eggs/sulphur
when using the water in the house...the water was sometimes almost black when flushing, and not nice to wash in. The faucet in the shower also seems to be broken, as it was either very hot, or very cold to shower .
The E4 highway is also just outside the house, and as it is between two lakes, you can hear a lot from the road.
The dock is in rather poor condition, and the water in the lake not so pleasant to swim in, unfortunately. However, the landlord had informed about stones and iron rods, to the left of the dock, which one should watch out for, however there were also iron rods and stones a little way below the swimming ladder.
Then little things that were broken or not working. E.g. solar cell lighting on the balcony and stairs. The boat whose attachment to the battery was broken. And fairly updated pictures from the outside of the cabin.. as well as a large crack in the glass by the terrace.
For the price we expected more unfortunately.

The water has its own well with activated carbon, so it can come out black when you open the tap after a longer break.
The water is also analyzed and fully drinkable, with a slight smell of sulphur.
Will install a larger treatment plant before Summer 2025.
Can't find anything wrong with the water mixer, don't know if you turned on the wrong faucet possibly.
As for the highway, it is about 1 km from the cabin, with trees in between.
Just when you were visiting, there was unfortunately a car meet nearby with lots of cars and music.
The dock has definitely seen its best days and will be replaced before Summer 2025.
This summer I have focused on the road to the cabin, as you couldn't drive all the way to it before.
There is a pipe in the water, which sits so firmly at the bottom that it cannot be moved, it is this pipe that you felt in the water.
Will mark it with a stick before the summer of 2025 so people don't have to think about where it is.
There is no solar cell lighting in the cabin, possibly a lamp for your own private use.
You write about a broken attachment to the boat, if you had called about it we would have fixed it.
The window to the balcony, which is about 2 meters wide and very large, has a crack on the outside, which has not gone through.
It is quite difficult and heavy to replace such a large window, which is why it has not been replaced.
It still fulfills its function, and is not something anyone has commented on before.
If you had gotten in touch, I would have been happy to visit the cottage, perhaps the dissatisfaction would have been solved.

Super great week. Super cozy place where you can be yourself, enjoy a small boat trip on the lake, soak in the hot tub and just relax. Close to a lot of activities on the High Coast. For our part, it was climbing Skuleberget mountain and hiking Skuleskogens National Park, among other things. Fantastic nature.

Very cozy cottage, very fresh. Beautiful lake. Avoid too much packing as you have to walk a little way to get down. Unfortunately, the cabin is absolutely not suitable for small children. Apart from them, it was a very cozy cottage holiday!
